I saw my neighbour from two houses down dumping salt on the snow today.

It is still snowing but there are about 5 inches of soft snow on the ground already.

And what does she do?

She goes to the salt box that is provided by the townhouse management, fetches a container full of salt and dumps it on the snow. Not ice, snow. That could be shoveled soooo easily. She did this 8 times (I counted) which is about 8 kg (16lbs) of salt on an area of about 40 sq feet (4sq m).

And if i say something i'm the bad guy.
Because i want her to slip and hit her back.
Because i'm a shovinist asshole.

There are few things I wish I could change but this is one of them: sick, ignorant human behaviour.

...and by the way, how come i have no problem walking on the same snow?

I took a walk with Daisy on the forest path by our house. I went further than usual because it was snowing and the forest looked beautiful. So beautiful. It was quiet, everything was covered with fluffy snow. It was so peaceful. Daisy loved it soooo much! I know, by tomorrow morning the snow plows of the city will clear the paths. In the middle of a forest where 3 people walk by every day and those 3 people walk there becuase they like the forest and they like nature - including snow - and what they don't like is concrete covered with salt. But they will clear it anyways. And then bitch about how their budget is not enough for anything.

But i had a nice walk.

Life Sentence,
No Parole

Murderers and rapists get out of jail over time. A chained dog serves a life sentence with no parole only because he is a dog while all he wants is to be with you and give you his unconditional love.
