There are Aboriginals, Torres Strait Islanders, Kiwis, Lebanese, Asians, Arabs, Boat People, Somalians, etc from all over the world living in our country. And then there are those of us who are just Australians.

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You Call me " Australian Dog", "White boy", "Cracker", "Skippy", "Whitey", "Caveman". And that's OK. But when I call you, Black Fella, Abbo, Kiwi, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Sheep Shagger ,Camel Jockey, Gook, or Chink, You call Me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are most of the Housing Commission Estates the most dangerous places to Live? You have Sorry Day. You Have Yom Hashoah ,You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi. You have Ramadan. But we have Christmas Day, Easter and we sing our Christian Hymns, now you say we are racist.

If we had a government department that paid for white children to go to school and be provided with return taxi transport and food for the day. We would be accused of operating a racist program. If we had a University fund that only gave white Students scholarships..... You know we'd be racists.

If we had TAFE courses or apprenticeships solely for whites. You would scream racist. If employers advertised preference from "white" applicants. They would be charged with being racist.

You have tribal law and Sharia Law etc. We have the Australian Law........ but you don't want to recognise it.. You have television programs in your language to promote your culture and your views. If we had WET (White Entertainment Television) .We'd be racists. You can march for your race and rights. That's ok. If we had a White Pride Day .. You would call us Racists. If we had White Culture Month, we'd be racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and Orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our White pride .You call us racists. If we wore "white pride" caps, hats, T shirts, jackets, and had our own flag. You would call us racist.

You rob us, bash our kids and pensioners, steal from us, break into our homes and steal our cars. But, when a white police officer arrests a Muslim gang member for rape or beats up a Lebanese Drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, or arrests a juvenile aboriginal car thief, high on drugs, for driving with no lights and on the wrong side of a freeway. You call him a racist.

I am proud of my white christian heritage, but I cannot say it aloud. Because you call me a racist.

Life Sentence,
No Parole

Murderers and rapists get out of jail over time. A chained dog serves a life sentence with no parole only because he is a dog while all he wants is to be with you and give you his unconditional love.

You agree this is wrong, don't you? Then you say "that's too bad", sigh, and move on. Do something about it. Please. Donate to Dogs Deserve Better to help unchain dogs and provide a kind, more loving life for them.

They are unseen. Forgotten. Alone. Forever. On a chain. Dying in the back yard of humans.
