I got a brand new blue VW City Golf on March 5, 2007. It's a 2.0L 125HP, 4cylinder engine.
It's basically the 2007 version of the Golf 4 - only available in Canada. It's an automatic so I can drink my coffee and eat my bagel while i'm driving:)

I know it's not the best car in the universe but i'm not the best guy in the universe either so we're a perfect match. I'm going to call it Sheena Jr. after Her Majesty Lady Corsica I.

What a shame

I went to take the citizenship test on Friday, March 9th.
It was not funny. They talk about how there is no discrimination in Canada....well...no...for the most part there isn't...at least not in a traditonal sense but THERE IS A EXTREME LEVEL OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINS NORMAL PEOPLE.
Without specifying the race of the people who made up about 90% of the people at the test - they just don't get things! A bloody notice from the government asks people to kindly bring their passports to the test - they forgot, didn't understand the notice, brought the wrong passport, etc. And the people who worked there didn't tell them to fuck off...noooo..they took 20 minutes to find out this and that about them so they can still take the test. I would have sent them home without a blink. And me and other decent folks suffer in the hot room for 2 hours until they check every monkey. I'm just too tired to go into further details now but i clearly remember that ever since grade 1 if we were told to do something and didn't do it the answer was never "oh...maybe we can do it for you". We were sent home or they failed our tests and if we questioned the decisions of our teachers...well..i'm not even sure because nobody ever did that.

Discrimination is no longer about being black or being a woman or not being able to speak languages. Only white and intelligent people will be discriminated. And if we say something (against the system or against a person) we will get prosecuted.

If an ethnic driver cuts off a white person and the white guy tells them to fuck off he/she will get charged for being racist. If he/she tells another white to fuck off the worst thing that can happen is they get the finger. Awesome.

Carwash/Road rage

Touchless car wash? Forget it! It left the car dirty. Not very dirty but after the wash the definitely did not look nice a clean. Meh.

And then as i was turning out of the carwash - i had a green light - a chinese chick runs the red and nearly hits the car in front of me, then instead of stopping, she keeps going and nearly hits me. So I sped up beside her car so i can yell at her but she didn't see me because she was still looking for something in the glove compartment with the left hand on the wheel and doing 70km/s at the same time. I start honking but she was too busy not paying attention, she didn't notice the honking coming from 4 feet to her left. After honging for about 10 seconds she finally looked up so I could give her the finger. And she looked suprised. What a shame I'm not driving a 20ton transport trailer...

Life Sentence,
No Parole

Murderers and rapists get out of jail over time. A chained dog serves a life sentence with no parole only because he is a dog while all he wants is to be with you and give you his unconditional love.

You agree this is wrong, don't you? Then you say "that's too bad", sigh, and move on. Do something about it. Please. Donate to Dogs Deserve Better to help unchain dogs and provide a kind, more loving life for them.
