SSSS: Sunday Snow Shoveling Show

Back to home page             Forward to a friend             What do you think?

The first big snow storm of this year (the biggest since 1999 they say) was on Sunday and it completely made my day.
I shoveled snow from 8-9am, had breakfast, shoveled some more then went to IKEA to find 3 cars in the parking lot:)
It was definitely not the best day for driving. Every time I left I had to dig the car out of the driveway.

The one thing I don't know is who had more fun: me or Daisy? She loooooves snow! She was jumping in deep snow all day and got so tired that after she swalloed a double portion of her dinner she passed out.

Lots of snow

Ok, we didn't have quite this much snow...

I put up a new shelf in the living room, did the dishes (finally figured out how to work the dishwasher), worked a bit more on the bathrrom (putting up the door now), wrote a few xmas letters and watched Back to The Future Part II. I bought the trilogy. I saw that movie a million times as a kid and now I'm re-watching the whole thing, this time in English.

I also ordered Internet again from Cogeco this time and as soon as it will be installed I will post a bunch of photos. I have them resized already , just need to upload them.

On Saturday we had dinner at my Brother's - they are off to Hungary for a month so this was the Chrismas dinner. Lots of pizza. We had fun. It's different that we don't live together anymore. Much better. No obligations. If I don't like something I leave. If he doesn't like something he kicks me out. And for these exact reasons nothing bad ever happens because we just don't care about silly shit anymore. We both have our own very independent and very different lives.

What else is there...5 more days and it's Christmas time. 9 days off out of 11. Not bad. Not bad at all!!!!

Life Sentence,
No Parole

Murderers and rapists get out of jail over time. A chained dog serves a life sentence with no parole only because he is a dog while all he wants is to be with you and give you his unconditional love.

You agree this is wrong, don't you? Then you say "that's too bad", sigh, and move on. Do something about it. Please. Donate to Dogs Deserve Better to help unchain dogs and provide a kind, more loving life for them.

They are unseen. Forgotten. Alone. Forever. On a chain. Dying in the back yard of humans.
